DENSO SALES UK LTD.’s Head Office, originally established in 1984, is located in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, approximately 20 miles North of London. In 1993, a development laboratory was opened in Coventry, in the West Midlands, with a second office opened in the same location in 2002. DENSO Sales UK Ltd has seen very rapid growth in the development and sale of thermal systems, powertrain control systems, electronic systems and electrical systems, to a range of original equipment manufacturers, from agricon machinery and motorcycles to prestige cars.
The head office functions include commercial and engineering liaison for the full range of DENSO products, and support function activities. In addition to commercial liaison with customers in the West Midlands, the Coventry branch offices are involved in research, development, design and application engineering for engine management, air-conditioning, intelligent transport and other electronics-based systems, as well as quality assurance and service support with test facilities. There is also an Aftermarket Sales department based at the Coventry site. Despite being located 80 miles apart, the Hatfield and Coventry sites work very closely together.
