DENSO THERMAL SYSTEMS in Turin - the car capital of Italy - was established in March 2001. In that year DENSO completed its acquisition of Magneti Marelli Climatizzazione S.p.A., the thermal systems unit of Magneti Marelli S.p.A. A few months later, the company was given a new name, DENSO Thermal Systems S.p.A.

The Italian company, located in Poirino, a city in the Province of Turin, is a unique combination of services: manufacturing, sales, and engineering services, design and testing. With three plants in Italy and subsidiaries in Poland, Portugal, Morocco, Brazil, Argentina and India, the Italian DENSO staff provide a service for a lot of major car manufacturers.

DENSO Thermal Systems S.p.A. is the parent company for DENSO companies in Portugal, Poland, Argentina, Brazil, India and, recently added, Morocco.
