In 2006 DENSO introduced the Regional Leadership Development Programme (RLDP), an intensive training program for Senior Management in Europe. Unlike previous progammes, this global programme looks at Management from a pan European perspective and the challenges this brings.

The programme has been developed in close collaboration with one of the best Business schools of Europe: The Rotterdam School of Management.

During the programme, senior managers are coached into thinking outside of country barriers. Suppliers and customers increasingly require talented European partners who look for the most optimal solution from DENSO. A large part of the training focuses on trends within the automotive industry. This helps keep our focus on the future and not just on our immediate requirements. This foresight is just one of the ways which helps keep DENSO ahead of its competition.

The importance of building a European network of colleagues and sharing solutions and best practice during this extensive training shouldn’t be overlooked. As we’ve mentioned previously, the tools of business; goods, money and information are worthless without talented people to use them.
