Where can I buy map disks which cover Eastern Europe for my DENSO navigation system?
DENSO is primarily an OE (Original Equipment) supplier, jointly developing and supplying products directly to car manufacturers for factory fitting. Navigation systems are an OE item. In such cases the agreement DENSO has is that the manufacturer takes responsibility for all aftersales service for the vehicle and it’s individual components. DENSO doesn’t sell directly to the public and therefore we don’t have the resources in place to deal effectively with end consumers. In the case of navigation this mean the car manufacturer is responsible for organising and supplying new disc updates. This is often done via a third party company and DENSO is not necessarily informed about this. You local authorised car dealer should be your first point of contact. If they are unable to help you, we adivse you to check the car manufacturers website and contact their Customer Care hotline. As a last resort you could try the website www.navteq.com a company which provides map data disks compatible with most of DENSO’s navigation systems.
